These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the payment gateway services provided by OSSICON 2026, the annual Orthopaedic conference. By making a payment through our platform, you agree to be legally bound by the terms below.

1. General

• These Terms apply to all users who access or use the OSSICON 2026 online payment portal.
• You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to make payments using the provided methods.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

OSSICON 2026 accepts the following payment methods through our secure gateway:

• Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express)
• Unified Payments Interface (UPI)
• Net Banking via major Indian banks
• Mobile Wallets (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, etc.)

3. Transaction Processing

• Transactions are processed through a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateway.
• OSSICON 2026 does not store or access your card or bank account information.
• Processing time may vary depending on the payment method and bank.

4. Pricing and Fees

• The amount payable includes registration fees, optional workshops, and other selected services.
• All charges are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST, if any.
• Convenience fees or payment gateway charges may be levied by the processor and are borne by the payer.

5. Confirmation and Receipts

• A digital receipt and transaction reference number will be sent to your registered email upon successful payment.
• Please retain the receipt as proof of payment. No physical receipt will be provided unless specifically requested.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

• All payments made are final and non-refundable, except in the following cases:
  • Duplicate or excess payments
  • System error during transaction
• All refund requests must be submitted to support@ossicon2026.org within 7 calendar days.
• Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days and returned via the original method of payment.

7. Fraud and Misuse

• OSSICON 2026 reserves the right to cancel any payment if fraudulent activity is suspected.
• Legal action may be taken against individuals attempting to defraud the conference.

8. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of information submitted through the payment form.
• Do not share your OTP, card details, or login credentials with anyone. OSSICON never asks for such details.

9. Data Privacy and Protection

• Your personal and transactional data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• No sensitive payment information is stored on OSSICON 2026 servers.

10. Third-Party Payment Gateways

• OSSICON 2026 uses trusted third-party payment processors (e.g., Razorpay, PayU, or Stripe).
• Each processor is governed by its own terms and privacy policies, which you are encouraged to review before making a payment.

11. Legal Jurisdiction

• All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in [Insert City, India].
• By using this service, you waive any right to object to jurisdiction based on location or convenience.

12. Modifications to Terms

• OSSICON 2026 reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
